Today we were given the chance to hike up one of the mountains to get a bigger glimpse of God's beautiful creation from up high. It rained off and on as we climbed- it took us two hours, but we managed to get to the top plateau (without any injuries) where we snacked and rested. We descended the slippery slopes slowly and carefully and even then, it only took an hour. Our hosts served us a delicious lunch and we took a much needed break before going back to work on the "Bird's Nest" pavilion. We worked to debark more rafters and a new post before the men put them in place. Others worked near camp chopping wood and adding to the stock needed for the wood stove. After dinner, we packed up and said goodbye to camp for a couple days. We drove into town to our new home. We all took hot showers! which was a great way to end a very long day.
Please pray that our team continues to stay healthy and safe as we work tomorrow at the kid's club. Pray that our message would be effective and well received by the Kosovar kids and that we would show God's love to the kids not only through our words but through our actions as well.
Thanks so much for supporting us as we serve our God in Kosova!
